## Follow responses

The **RSVP** column on **People** shows where each guest is:

| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| **Draft** | Added, not invited yet |
| **Invited** | Invite sent, no reply yet |
| **Pending** | Said yes and is waiting for your approval |
| **Waitlisted** | Said yes while the event was full |
| **Confirmed** | Going |
| **Declined** | Said no |
| **Cancelled** | Said no after confirming |
| **Rescinded** | You cancelled their invite, or the event was cancelled |
| **Checked in** | Arrived |
| **Checked out** | Left |

Use the saved views at the top (**All**, **Confirmed**, **Checked in**, **Pending**, **Waitlist**, **Declined**) to work through each group. The **Pending** view also includes guests not invited yet, guests who haven't replied, and waitlisted guests. **Declined** also includes cancelled guests.

## Approve, confirm and waitlist

- **Approve** moves pending or waitlisted guests to confirmed and emails them the good news. You can approve guests even when the event is at capacity. Plus-one requests are approved in the guest's **Plus-ones** section instead.
- **Confirm** records a yes you got another way, by phone or in person. It doesn't send an email unless you choose **Confirm & send invite**.
- **Cancel invite** removes a guest's access. They aren't emailed.

## Reminder emails

Every event comes with three "confirm your spot" reminder emails, sent **2, 7 and 14 days** after each guest's invite to guests who haven't confirmed yet. Each guest's reminders count from when their own invite was sent, so guests invited later get the same timing. Anyone who confirms or declines stops getting them, and nothing is sent once the event has started.

Manage them in **Settings → Reminders**:

- **Add reminder** to create your own. Choose **When** (after the invite is sent, or before the event starts), the number of **Days** and **Plus hours**, who to **Send to** (guests who haven't confirmed, or confirmed guests), the **Channel** (email or push notification) and the **Message**.
- Edit, **Switch off** or delete any reminder.
- **Upcoming sends** shows what's going out and when.

Reminders before the event starts need the event's **Timezone** set in [event details](https://www.attend.vip/help/organizers/event-details.md). You can change the reminder email's wording and subject in **Settings → Invites & emails**.

## Make sure you can reach everyone

Open **Reports → Comms reach**. It shows which confirmed guests have **push notifications** turned on and can receive **text messages**. Use the **No push** view to find guests who'll miss urgent updates and nudge them to turn notifications on.

## Check-in

On the day, open a confirmed guest and select **Check in**. Use the **Checked in** view to see who has arrived.

## Do it with Claude or ChatGPT

With Attend connected (https://www.attend.vip/help/organizers/connect-ai/), paste:

```text
Using Attend, give me a summary of my event [event name]: how many guests are confirmed, invited but not yet replied, pending approval, waitlisted and declined. List the pending guests by name, and tell me which confirmed guests don't have push notifications turned on.
```
