Decide how guests join
Invite-only or a public registration page, plus capacity, an RSVP deadline and approvals.

- Create your event
Most Attend events are invite-only: you add the guests and invite them. If people should be able to sign themselves up, open a public registration page.
Registration method
| Method | How guests join |
|---|---|
| Invite-only | You add guests and send invitations. This is the usual choice. |
| Public page | Anyone with the link registers on your event page at events.attend.vip. |
| External | Registration happens on another platform. Bring guests in with an import or a connected integration such as Cvent (Settings → Integrations). |
If you choose Public page
- When someone registers: choose Hold for approval to review every registrant, or Auto-confirm until full to let people straight in.
- Registration link: share this link. Anyone who has it can register.
- Set up the page itself in Settings → Event site: hero image, sharing details and which questions the form asks. The site only goes live once the event is published and the method is Public page.
- To sell tickets, see Settings → Tickets. It needs the Ticket Sales package and a connected Stripe account.
Limits
- Max capacity: the most guests that can be confirmed, including plus-ones. Once it’s reached, new sign-ups go on the waitlist. Leave it blank for no limit.
- RSVP deadline: the last moment guests can register or confirm, in local time at the venue (set the event’s Timezone in event details). Guests can always decline, even after the deadline. Leave it blank for no deadline.
Approvals
Guests waiting for a decision appear under Pending approval. Select Review in Guests to open them, then Approve or Approve & send invite. You can approve guests even when you’re at capacity.
